About Sarah Hogan, IBCLC
When I was a new mom, I read a book about infant feeding that was (and still is) a best seller, but I had no idea that the methods they suggested were not evidence-based. When my second and third babies were born, the hospital where I delivered encouraged me to feed my baby on cue and specifically to not follow the method I had used with my first. This information was eye-opening, humbling, and set us up for a more enjoyable breastfeeding journey.
Fast forward twenty years, I have found my life’s work. And it’s grounded in research and biological norms, not someone’s new and improved method on how infants should behave. Sharing this space with parents and babies is sacred and requires excellence of all perinatal providers who dwell here.
Nurturing a new baby can be stressful with all the unsolicited and digital advice. I can help you sort through the noise and feed your baby in a way that works best for you.
